5.7 hemi tuning
Just bought a 11 ram 1500 5.7l for a steal
First hemi build im doing , I ordered a btr stage2 hemi cam kit with vvt lockout, hell cat lifters, dod block off plugs, 8.075 amd 6.775 pushrods, spring set, hv oil pump
Looking for recommendations for a tuner or remote tuning, Obviously I will eventually get a dyno tune but looking for something to get it on the road running decent till I get the funds back up.
I looked at hp tuners and read a bunch of forums and hemis seem to be alot more advanced as far as tuning than ls platforms that I'm used to, I talked to hptuners and was told that my mpvi3 doesn't support remote tuning, like it does for my yukon (being able to send data log file to tuner and getting sent back a file to program for fine tuning it back and forth till its right)? Is this true?
I've used the Diablo sport in the past for customers after doing a mds delete with the preset tune but like I said this is the first hemi I'm swapping to a bigger cam.
Any advice would be appreciated.
