Hey guys so I’ve had my 2010 ram on bolsteins set at 2.1” for awhile now. Stick tire size if that matters. And recently had to replace the cv axle. It was making a knocking sound. Not even 500 miles later I’m starting to hear that same noise. Could it really be the cv axle already?

I do t want it to get worse considering I just replaced the cv axle. I did the front bearings about 20k ago.

The idea is to see if the noise is worse while the front wheels are being powered since this will place more load on the CV axles. Unless I break one I figure by the time I need to do CV axles the truck should be well paid for and I'll just upgrade to the RCV's and never have to do it again.

Edit : That link is for the newer trucks. Older Ram's would use the set that's been around for a while.
