Mine is the 46" Deck with the 22 HP Motor/Hydrostatic. I Bought my Son a 42" Cub Cadet last year when he moved into his "new" house in PA. He has the Intelligent Drive setup and is hydrostatic also. I just went on line and bought the tractor from his local TSC and gave him the info and it was delivered, easy peasy.@turkeybird56
Funny, I have the same (almost) mower. Mine has a 42" deck and 18hp engine.
The really funny part is that my snowblower has a 13hp engine!

It does not even get that cool overnight right now. That would be like late November here. Heck my AC runs through November usually.

ADDED: I will not have a mower that does not have hydrostatic drive anymore.

Close. Really close.
Close enough that I can fetch snowballs out of the wall and occasionally glimpse the wildlings milling around on the other side!

Stay away from some of the local restaurants, especially if you can't read the name on the placeI'm trying to pull it up on Google Maps to see how far from my hotel, but "ice wall holding back undead horde" isn't coming up.
Still no polar bears.
Unrelated question: WTF does Ottawa have signs on some street posts saying dogs are pets not food.

I know I joke around a lot, but this is a legitimate thing we saw in Ottawa. It's a sign with a bunch of dogs in a cage and it says dogs are pets, not food. Is this a thing that is happening here or just a general protest, if you're aware? (I know Canada is a big place, not everyone knows everything going on nationwide, but Google didn't bring up any news stories or anything)

Where do I signup for a new lawn tractor with the hydrostatic upgrade?
.
It's not the undead ya have to worry about from up there.
It's the wildlings.
From the amount of human feces on the sidewalks, maybe both?
On the plus side, and perhaps related to the topic of heat, Ottawa has a Nando's. I haven't eaten at a Nando's in over 20 years, since leaving Qatar. It was really nostalgic for my wife and I.
The Bigger Kohler Dual Cylinder motors valve adjustments PITA. Tho harder to get the gaskets than anything else. I always set the clearances at .004. I also cheated and use Permatex also. KOHLER does sell their specific RTV sealant but stupid expensive. The pax side not so bad, drivers side PITA. I had a Husq mower, I traded it in and got a Craftsman pro series (That mower lasted 10 years, but I beat on it real bad, not just use to "mow" grass/weeds, lol). But since no more Sears, those options pretty much gone, but Mowers are only made by *** amount of companies with different paint and names put on, Kinda Like batteries.I bought a Husqvarna yth22v46 in 2016. It has a hydrostatic transmission, I think.
It uses a single rocker pedal on the right side. Constant variable type gearing, so push the pedal forward for forward and backward for reverse. The further you push the pedal, the faster it goes.
I change the engine oil and check the valve ciearance annually, but haven't touched the transmission since I've owned it.
The transmission is probably due for an oil change.
