Anyone know what wire powers bulbs in the dash?

I’ve got an 06 megacab. The dash backlights and climate control backlights don’t work. Everything else is fine including the rear lights. I’ve tried everything. Checked and replaced all fuses. Checked the wiring into the fuse box, and all pigtails for any burned wires or connections. Checked grounds. Replaced the headlight switch. Even pulled the cluster and tested each bulb individually (all were fine). I’m to the point now that it has to be a wire issue at an unreachable area. So my thought is find the wire At the connector that is meant to power the bulbs and splice it into the headlight wire.

So does anyone know which wires are for the headlight and backlights for the dash? Or have any other ideas?

Looks like the standalone “bcm” stopped in 05. And the cluster itself is considered the “bcm” in 06. And I have been looking everywhere to find a schematic or clue to which wires control it.

It was a good idea and got excited for something I hadn’t tried yet. Thanks!

I thought it stop in 04 but go to junk yard and get a cluster from an 06 and try it they are pretty easy to swap out and I got one from LKQ pick your part for like 35.00 and if it works there are places that you can send it to to set the odometer for a fee of corse if you are concerned about it or just document with pics on its replacement if you sell it I believe the main chip will keep the original mileage hope this helps
