My dash rattles have become worse. Undoes the road is perfectly smooth the dash will rattle on me. Truck is a 2014 with 25,000 kms. On my last truck when I complained about the dash rattling and they said the mods (exhaust) were the cause. They could never fix it. Being that this truck is so new I'm not happy it's rattling as much as it is.

Now since I have the A/T tires and exhaust I understand it's probably my fault it's rattling. My question for you guys is should I just live with it or ask the dealer to try and fix it?

Does anyone else have their dash rattling?

If they can truly prove that your exhaust caused it you are SOL, if they cant the magnusson-moss act covers you.

now here is the kicker.. different materials (plastics, steels, aluminums) vibrate and resonate at difference frequencies. the items in a car are tested with stock setups and cant guarantee they wont vibrate loose with different parts.

Yeah I gave up on the last truck after a while. It's just so hard to pinpoint where the noise is coming from.

Was moreso looking to see if others are having the issue as well and if they've done anything about it.

No magnusson-moss act for us canadians. We have the "we have ur money ur ****** act"

OP: I hate interior noises too but there are certain things I live with because I don't want the repair done. I have a rattle over my head in the headliner/sunroof somewhere but I live it with because I'd rather that than them taking my liner down, getting finger prints all over it, creating further rattles by disturbing things etc... sometimes the repairs is worse than the initial issue. Speaking as an ex chrysler service advisor.

Thanks man,

I've had a headliner rattle too! Luckily I was able to figure out where it is so I could stop it.

Thank god I don't have my dads 13 f-250 though...that thing is a real rattle trap. Everything creeks, and he hasn't don't any mods with the exception of tuner/CAI.

Have someone just drive your truck...someone you trust..lol...then when they are driving. Start digging around to see what you can find...or at least find where it's happening.

On the same subject, since I got my bilstein install 2 years ago, I've notice squeaking sounds on my truck. Turns out that after removing my side steps, most of that sound has gone away....it wierd, and I don't get it. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled it serval times..now I just have it off all together.

Now I have to hear my short family ***** and complain how they struggle climb up my truck without the steps....so now I'm hearing them squeak...lol
