Was thinking about de-badging my black 13 ram 1500 and was wondering if there would be any color difference underneath the badges?

de badgeing

debadge it and if you dont like it get some black ones and cover it back over..With blacked out ones it will be harder to see the badges so you keep a bit of both looks..badged and debadged..

Didnt like the chromed ones on my 16 sport so all mine are now blacked out..

even on the blue they dont stand out like chrome..

Sorry bout the upside down pic..Tried to fix it but its somethin weird, even when i rotate..

I used a heat gun, fishing line, and 3m adhesive remover. A rubber easer wheel that you can attach to a drill helps too.

My truck is white and when I removed mine the only difference you could see was around the badges from where the truck was dirty. After I have it a good wash with some scrubbing you couldn't even tell they were there.

Being your truck is a couple years old there might be some ghosting. Usually a god waxing will help get rid of ghosting
