Hello new member here.
I have a 2012 1500. I bought an Andersen weight distribution hitch. This system has the anti sway built in and anti bounce, just the way it is designed. The first page of the instruction indicates that I may have to deactivate my anti-sway on my Ram. Does anybody know how to do this or if it can even be done?

It turns off when you turn off ESC, but you lose more than integrate away control when you do that.
Leave it on. The hitch sway control will keep small events from happening, and the truck will try to thwart major events.

What NewBlackDak said.

Also, even if you chose to deactivate it by “turning off” the traction and stability control, it’s only partly off. Turning it “off” only raises the “trigger speed”.

Thanks guys for your responses. Is there any chance the 2012 1500 doesn't even have the sway control?

Thanks TRCM. That was very helpful. I never knew you could download a free manual.
