Deal or no Deal? Headlight advice

Hey guys I wasn't really looking for new headlights but saw a guy post some up on fb for cheap. He didn't know anything about them except they were on his truck when he bought it. I googled them and found that they are spec-d headlights and looks like they go for about $200 New. I got him down to 40 bucks but there is some broken brackets on the lights but figured I would try to fix them. Think I got a good Deal? Any advice on fixing them, cleaning up the lens, and is there better high output lights I should put in them while they are open?

Get a plastic welder and that will help make the permanent repairs Practice on some scrap plastics first

Bump anyone else have ideas on how to make these lights better?

I have the same headlights. I installed cheap $30 led bulbs and they are brighter than the stock H1 halogen bulbs. After seeing how much brighter $100. HID kits are, i might try installing a set in the halogen projector. If they dont work, I can sell the bulbs used on ebay.

I dont know how to post the links from ebay. But they were like $30 and came with anfi flicker harnesses. Just make sure they have cree bulbs and anti flicker adaptors and you will be fine.
