Wondering what anyone may think about this? So I leased a 2019 big horn yesterday. While home last night I was just checking over everything and the loaded options. While looking at all the information of my vehicle on their website. It stated that it comes with a cargo bed divider. In the bed of my vehicle it has the glides installed with the sliding lock knobs. However no divider! On my window sticker it does not list the cargo bed divider at all. So I went back to the dealer today and I showed them that I'm missing the divider but have the system installed in the truck of my bed. He says well what does the window sticker say. I pulled it out and showed that it doesnt say anything about it but on the website under this specific vehicle it was listed as an option it came with. He says that doesnt matter, the truck is built specific to what your window sticker says. So I said yes, it doesn't say it in the window sticker but your website did and if it doesn't say it in the window sticker why do I have the glide system installed minus the divider? He says, right you would think that it would all come together as one package if the glide rails are there you would think you would get the divider with it but it doesn't come together. Than he says if you like we can order the divider part for you if you'd like to buy it? So basically as I argued about it they refuse to give me the divider because the window sticker doesnt say it even though on the website it was listed as part of the vehicle and the glides are installed. Does this even make sense and are the glides a seperate order from the divider itself? If I were to order it which I would want to on my own as it would be cheaper from the dealer. How the hell would I know what to order that would work and be compatible with that system installed?

I would contact Ram Cares in this issue. They could probably help. Especially if you have any screen shots of the website.

I don't know the specific answer to that, but another guy ran into the same thing. I *think* if you don't have the full Bed Utility Group (BUG) package you don't get the divider, and apparently the divider costs about $700 which is crazier than hell to me.

You’re not getting ripped off. If you have ramboxes (which it sounds like you do), you ALSO need the RamBox bed utility group in order to get the divider. If your truck is not equipped with that package, then you didn’t pay for something you didn’t receive. I can look it up with the VIN if you want.

Other than what it specifically said on the internet listing (cargo bed divider) I do not see it specifically saying it anywhere else. When I enter the vin on that link provided. It does say Bed Utility Group though. Unless that means I should have the divider too as anyone can see in the pic, the rails are installed. :33:

FWIW the current 2019 RAM 1500 brochure shows the divider as a stand alone option.

My guess is RAM changed it at some point and doesnt really make a point of it because it would tick people off.

The divider is not part of the cargo utility group, it's an add on accessory. It won't show up on the window sticker as it doesn't come factory. It would be something you purchase from the dealer or have them include it with purchase at the dealer. Since you have no proof that it was supposed to be included I'm thinking you are SOL.

It's a ~$230 accessory.

Well I definitely dont have the ram box either under this list. Wish I wasnt overwhelmed by remembering and going over so much crap while I was there over all the pickups. Though as I mentioned, even though they had it under the website listing he said it doesnt matter. YET......it was the only pickup there with the rails installed in it.

What type of divider goes with that Bed?

I have Ram boxes, and my bed divider would not work that that regular bed style.

Exactly! I think everyone was under the impression he had ramboxes and was missing the elusive divider/extender. That’s the one that costs $700 new (and used $500+ according to some on eBay lol).
From the picture included, it’s a regular bed that would take a regular bed extender. You can buy the Mopar one on amazon for under $250.

So the pic i posted of inside my bed with the glides isnt for a sliding divider that locks? That you are saying a bed extender? Because I said nothing about a bed extender nor was a bed extender listed. Just the cargo divider listed on the website and salesperson confirming that I did have the divider system installed but wouldn't give the divider part to me.20191130_184449.jpg

The Ram box trucks have a extender/divider. The regular bed trucks just have a divider available for purchase. It does not come with the truck. Only the rails, bed liner and hooks.
