I’ve always thought that was a load of horse manure ,they were pulling that back in 1994 when the new model trucks were released ,I walked . At least these are something special, they wanted 5gs extra for a work truck. So what color is yours gonna be ?

Dealer I take my truck to for service has a Trackhawk in their showroom with $15k markup. I've looked at it a few times. They always ask if I'm interested. Sure, take that $15k off, plus another $5k for the insult. And they're like, naa, it is what it is. And I'm like well, that's why it's been sitting here for 5 months. Have fun paying interest on it.

$28k for 1025 HP you can just bolt in. That's really not a bad deal. You could easily spend more than half that on parts alone upgrading a 5.7 for 700 HP. Plus time and machining.

Then again, I'm in to bass boats where a 250 HP Merc outboard costs $26k. So it's all relative.

I’ve seen a 3rd gen 5.7 making 697 with only a large supercharger installed. Not sure how long stock internals will last at that level. But they did it. I’ll take 3 170’s. Just send the bill to JB at the WH. Lol. He owe’s us

If that's to the wheels that engine is not long for this earth. Stock internals are good for about 700 at the crank...and that's pushing it to the limit. Cast crank, rods and pistons.

If the rings were gapped for boost,the stock bottem will live for awhile if it's running a good aka safe tune.
