So washed the truck yesterday but I'm too lazy to dry it but then it was covered in spots. So I have seen these products that are like a quick detail. Spray on and wipe off. Would this work? After I wash it I spray this on and wipe if off? Will it get rid of the spots? What brands are good?

Looked at Meguiars site and they have a few Quik Detail products that look like they might work?

Those products most likely won’t get rid of existing hard water spots, but they would help prevent them in the future once you do get rid of them

If it is just the spots you want to remove without adding any finish material try a spritzer bottle with a 60-40 mix of water to white vinegar. We use straight vinegar to remove buildup in the kuerig(sp?) coffee machine and the 60-40 mix on the inside glass of our shower.

Won't vinegar remove the wax? These aren't any sort of bad spots, just general spots you get from not drying your truck after washing. It seems to take me longer to dry it with a chamois than it does to wash it inside and out. Figured after it's dry I could spray this quick detailer on and wipe it off and the spots would be gone

Water spots are deposits of minerals. They don’t remove easily with detail spray. The idea is to get your truck dry befor me you get water spots

Use a leaf blower and it will make quick work of it. 5 minutes tops
Or buy some decent sized plush microfiber towels that you only use for drying. If towel drying use P&S Bead maker as a drying aid and the next wash drying will even be easier.

Carpro Spotless or Gyeon water spot remover will get rid of the spots you created. In the future use a leaf blower or vacuum to blow off the water to dry it. If the water spots get too bad they are etched in and you'll need to machine polish to get them out.

My wife works for the FAA and this is what they use on all the planes/Jets. I’ve been using it on my truck since I purchased it and her car. Never have a problem with any spots. Wash it like normal. Spray your truck and wipe dry. Easy as cake and it looks great. it’s quick and easy to dry. I have a few different drying ways. Microfiber mop. And micro fiber towels for the harder to get spots

I have a big meguiars towel and I dry mine in a few minutes. Doesn't have to be extra dry. Just get all the droplets off.
