Diesel tailpipe on 2021 6.4 Hemi Pic

Attached is pics of my 2021 6.4 Hemi with 4" MBRP black tailpipe for a Diesel that I used to eliminate that ugly resonator. Sounds lot deeper and how a HEMI should sound. Everything else including muffler is stock.

Everyone talks about drone....i have had numerous V8 trucks and drone isn't something I have ever really been bothered by...all I can say is it is deeper sound a a little louder. At cruising speed on the intestate its barely any louder than stock

I guess I'm not picky about things. People use the phrase "ugly resonator" hell I never even notice it. But I like the look of that black tip.

Personally exhaust is something I have no interest in on pickups anymore now that I have to tow. But this truck is quiet as all get out even when 4K rpm under 10k lb load. Wonder how it would sound under your setup! Lol.

Yes I did all work myself. Cut pipe directly after the resonator used a 3.5" ID to 4" ID reducer then new black tailpipe piece with 5" tip

Sounds like something I’m going to want to do. I had a solo mr 400 o my 2018 6.4 and it sounded good but still too loud for towing a camper. So I’ll be interested in how it sounds towing.

I like the way that looks. I changed the OEM muffler to a Solo MR400 muffler and then added a Gibson clamp on style 5inch double wall straight tip.

Man I can't believe you did that!!! That resonator is the coolest part of the back of the truck!!!
I only waited long enough for my truck to cool after driving it home from the dealership before I hacked mine off!

Here is mine. I hated the resonator look. I was going to paint mine black hoping to hide it more, but after placing the new exhaust tip and tucking it up a little tighter it helps hide it and I don’t really notice it anymore. You can still see it but it’s not as bad.

the tip was just a plane 5in bolt on from Amazon I cut the bolt off and welded it on. The resonator is pretty much in the same spot. It might be angled a little different the pipe is tucked up higher. I put a borla XR-1 muffler on there as well that might of changed the angle some.

I haven't towed my travel trailer yet. Goin next weekend. Will post my thoughts after the trip.
