4th Gen length?
5th Gen lenght?
5th Gen Classic Length?

I know for a fact my 5th gen CC is ~4" longer than my 4th gen CC.

SO is the 5th gen classic built on the 5th gen chssis or 4th gen?

There is no 5th Gen Classic, it is still a 4th Gen.

Farmer, I don’t know for Sue, but since th classic rams use after market parts for the 4th gen parts, I would think they are built on 4th gen grams your measurements should be correct.

So, the "new" 2021 - 2022 classic is ~4" shorter?

Yes, the exact same size as the 2019-2020 classics as well as all the 4th gens before that. All classics from 2019 on are nearly identical to the years of 4th gens that preceded them, aside from some minor differences such as appearance packages like the warlock being available. However, after 2018 you could no longer get a the 4th gen in longhorn or limited trim levels, possibly others.

That's why I always recommend to any classic owners to just order parts for a 2018 or older to avoid any possibility of receiving a 5th gen part.
