Think I warned you about that bolt, lol. Some guys cut the bracket off,but on the last set of headers I did,i used a thin cut-off disc in a small angled die grinder and cut the bolt off after backing it out as far as I could, then cleaned the threads up on the bolt and re-used it afterwards to re-bolt the bracket back on again.

Is this the one that won’t come out unless you drop the front diff?

Whoever designed this **** should be shot.. I didn't drop the diff... I unbolted the engine mount, jacked up the engine about 2 inches and that gave me room to remove the ******* thing. Most ridiculous thing I've ever ******* seen

Unless you like leaks you should probably install one.

The official Mopar part number for the 2017 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi engine oil dipstick tube O-ring is 53021144AA (also listed as the engine oil indicator tube seal)

I believe it should have an o-ring. On my '15 SLT, the part # was 53021144AA. Not sure if same for you.

LOL, I'm late to the party, forgot to hit "post reply"
