Is it possible to direct tune our 4th gens without a trinity or bullydog or something? I'm at my wits end with trying to get my trinity to work in my truck. Is it possible to get the ECU tuned without one or is there something better than those two?

Have you talked to Sean or Diablo about your problems?

Just short of a Chrysler engine programmer doing it for you, I don't think so.

I'm not aware of any way this can be done except with a handheld programmer, programmer software on a console and the truck put on a dyno.

It still requires a programmer of some sort.

I'm sure your issues can be sorted.

I'd contact Diablo and see what they can do to help

We are tuning a procharged, heads and cam 2014 with HP Tuners right now, no handheld device required.

I've contacted diablo time and time again for various problems. This trinity has been issue after issue after issue. From killing my battery, locking up my ecu, to the fact that pretty much every time I put it in there is some sort of error or problem that keeps it from marrying to the truck. And diablosport's support hours conflict with my working hours so it's not easy to just call and get it sorted out. Right now the trinity is failing to copy the backup and sends my truck into a freakout every time I try, it wont shut off and leaves me with an array of engine codes to clear up every time. But everyone told me to steer clear of bullydog so I'm not sure what to do. I have headers and no cats and need it tuned to accommodate that.
