Well I thought it would need to grow on me but it still hasn't, at this point I liked my alpine system way better.... Love my hu and still have to finish connecting everything but I don't know what going on with the speakers....I get to not even 3/4 volume and it starts crapping out... Completely turn the bass off and still crap... At this point I can't change it cause I don't have the money to hit maybe my hopes were to high... Any insight let me know if I might of done something wrong

Are you unhappy with the door speakers or the subs?

I am running some Infinity Reference 6x9's in all 4 doors and their 3.5's in the dash. Even with the stock headunit, I absolutely love these speakers...and they are fairly inexpensive too. I will have to let you listen to some Metallica in the truck when you come over on Wedneday. I swear the louder you turn these up, the better they sound.

my guess that is the problem....they are under powered. Get them amped and you will notice a big difference

If they're sharing power with the dash speakers, they're getting 11 watts And not 11 GOOD, clean watts, at that.
Kicker is not my cup of tea, but IMO you have to feed speakers their RMS rating in order to give them a chance.

Infinity Reference 3032cf 3-1/2" 2-way Car Speakers

This is what I am running in all 4 doors and in the dash. 6x9's in the doors are rated at 100w rms per speaker, and the 3.5's in the dash are rated at 25w per speaker. I am only powering them with the stock headunit, and they sound amazing. I think you are going to be very impressed when you hear them. Kicker has always made a decent product, so I'm leaning towards them being wired incorrectly.

Convert, for now.
Engine
small
lack of power, your running them HARD off low power, and clipping them. Need an amp and it will change them a TON!

You're probably running the amp on either high or off, turn it to low, play with the amp. That's what happened to me, then I figured it out and fixed it.

Well that's where you went wrong. You need a amp to run that.

Kickers are the best. And it's sound like they suck
