Crate 5.7L ...same as it had ...over priced, $11,080. all in ...just paid the truck off last fall and was debt free ...here we go again!! ;(

Pickup tube plugged with sludge ...oil starved...initial diagnosis of seized crank turned out to be correct ...Sadly, a very expensive lesson.

So, after having my ride back for a week, I've discovered some parts missing!!

The cover over the hood latch & horns- not there, and one of the horns was not working, but suddenly, yesterday started to work again.

No clamp on the rad overflow tube.

Engine cranks 4-6 times before starting- old engine did not do that.

Did rear brakes last night and discovered the key for the wheel locks was now an aftermarket version (McGard) Beat, well used, and greasy. This is not the original key or wheel locks. Mine was like new and clean!!...rarely used, except for wheel rotation and a front brake job done a year ago. This one is scratched up and dirty and was left on the centre console...didn't notice when I tossed it into the console because I was in a hurry.

Last, but, not least...alignment is out and now drifts from centre line to curb in the space of an 2 lane intersection!

Totally pissed off about the theft and not impressed with the service...You'd think that when a customer is dropping $11G's on a job, they'd have the decency to clean the throttle body cover before reinstalling it...actually, for that kind of dough I don't think a wash and a detail would be asking to much!!

When I asked about 'warranty' paperwork, the service advisor said my bill was my warranty/guarantee ....seems kind of strange, since, I've come to expect that most warranties require you to meet certain requirements in order to keep the warranty valid.
Am I wrong?

A bit cheaper than what I paid, but, then would have had to pay shipping to Canada...would probably end up about the same...thanks though
