Not real sure what its called but its the heads up display where you can scroll through to mpg, gauges for temps, trailer settings, tire pressure, ect.

Here is my question. Can you force it so every time you turn the truck on it goes to a certain display? I like to have my temps up since I don't have the extra gauges higher trims have, but every time I turn the truck off and then later back on it goes to my tire pressure diagram with their pressures. So I then have to find the gauges again.

Not a huge issue since its just the up arrow twice and I'm there but still annoying since if I leave it on MPG then that's what comes up during a restart.

I have check the manual with no resolve. I have also tried searching here but maybe I'm just not using the correct key words.

I had the same problem on my 14 Express with a 3.5" cluster. I wanted to keep it on the screen with all the temps but everytime I started the truck it would default back to the MPG. I tried everything nothing seems to change it. I have since installed the 7". premium cluster and now it stays wherever I left it when I start the truck. My friend has a 2015 Express with a 3.5" cluster and his seems to stay where he left it when he turns on tne truck a lot better than mine did.

This is a plug and play conversion that takes about twenty minutes to do. You will need to find a speedometer with a few more miles than yours and then switch them when the mileage is the same. You can also have the mileage adjusted by a place called Nav2go.com for 175.00. Most people just find one with more mileage and wait. You need a speedometer out of a diesel 2014 or newer for your tire pressure sensors to work. Any year will work but the TPMS will not show your tire pressure if you get the earlier speedometer. The diesel speedometers are a little harder to find. Check Ebay and car-part.com. and LKQ make sure you have them send you a picture before you buy it they are listed incorrectly in many cases. You need to check pretty much everyday on the websites and the forum until you find one. They go quick when they comeup. If you find one online sometimes you can pick them up pretty cheap under 200.00 but in most case you can expect to pay 400.00 or so. The prices have gone way up because if the demand from people upgrading to the 7"

If it is going to the tire pressure screen that is normally an indication you have an issue with tire pressure.

I believe the standard behavior is for the display to go to default screen of the area you were in.

My 3.5" Cluster didn't go to the default screen of whatever screen I was in. It always went back to the MPG screen no matter where I left it. I have heard others complain about there's going to different screens as well. As I stated after installing the 7" premium cluster it stays on whatever screen I am on pretty much all the time. It might change on me once or twice a month.

Yea no issues with my tire pressure at the time of reading on screen at start up. I checked them at the tire and the pounds matched the screen.

Seems very random. When I got to work today I had it on the temp read outs. Turned truck off and restarted... went to mpg. Did it again without changing from the mpg and now it shows tire pressure.

Beats me. Ill just do the upgrade to the 7inch whenever I can find one.

Thanks for the input.
