I now own a 2011 Ram 1500 with an RHB type media center with the Hard Disc Drive. The problem that I'm having is that when a recording is played from the HDD, the title of the song is displayed correctly, but the photo displayed of the CD cover is not the correct one. It was like this when I bought the truck and any new music that I add is also displayed incorrectly. I hate to erase all the music and start over, and I'm not sure that this will correct the situation. I'm sure somebody must have had this problem but I am unable to locate any info in the forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

Thank you clifford15 for your rapid and informative response. I'm glad that was easy for YOU. (not so easy for me) haha.
I'd gladly spend the 45 or $90 for this service, but reading over the "WARNINGS" on the link you provided reminds me of the "possible side effects" of my prescriptions. (Death) Not being at all tech savvy means that I will probably have the wrong Album Art on my screen for the duration. I still wonder if deleting all the music and starting over would reset this glitch.
Thanks again, Mike

I've found the display on my '09 system is annoying. It displays correctly for some songs, but no others. Seems to be more of an issue with how the OS reads the ID tag on the file that a problem with the hardware. Seems also that going much larger with the HD causes issues - the system can't deal with large play lists.

I think the cost is for them to do the upgrade but I have no idea if you are supposed to send back just the hard drive. For $90 if they return an SSD that not too bad. Might be worth a call.
I agree about not taking chances trying to update. My Challenger has a 430 RHB and the only thing I updated was the Bluetooth module firmware because it was sounding awful.
I decided to keep the radio at whatever verision it is at to avoid bricking it. The hard drive only has a couple of pics that I display on the screen so the album art was never an issue.

I'm surprised more people have not had this issue. If nobody else has any bright ideas I will probably delete all the music files and start over to see if that does anything for me. The hard drive is only about 15% full so I don't think it is a function of it being too full.
