Yall haven't let me down yet. Got a 14 w/8.4 display. It's getting REAL slow starting up. sometimes 5 min. plus. Been wanting to upgrade if possible anyway. Is their an aftermarket co. that can provide and program. Gen 4 would be fine. 5 better. Thankz in advance.

Any '13-'17 truck 8.4 will be a direct swap in (Plug-n-Play), probably for fairly inexpensive from your local salvage yard. Check: www.car-part.com
You could upgrade to a 2018 or newer 8.4 (UAQ or UAS) to get AndroidAuto and CarPlay support but the media hub would need to be upgraded also.
Any of the factory radio options do not require any programming, they will automatically read the configuration from your truck.
The third option is go aftermarket. If you go through https://www.crutchfield.com/ you can pick out what you want and with one of their install kits is practically Plug-n-Play. If you do get one that supports AndroidAuto or CarPlay make sure it will do it wirelessly.
