Same color paint as the body for the truck. Look in the DIY section on how to remove it.

Makes me want to remove mine. It's cracked and never laid correctly from the factory I think.

I took mine off pretty fast too. I get why the do it on lighter color trucks but not the dark colors like that

Time for a stupid question, lol. This vinyl on my truck has an air bubble in it so I was thinking about taking it off, what are the chances the paint would have faded? My trucks a 2010 and red in color, just don't wan to peel it if it'll be a different shade of red.

It will have faded, but seeing it's where it is, I don't think most will notice. Taking off badges after 3-4 years can be an issue though. Here, I think you're OK.

My RAM doesn't have these vinyl strips, if it did this is an excellent tip.

I removed mine today, without that video I probably would not have attempted. Thanks Trupiano!

Is it like this for the 2014's as well? Mine had a bubble in it that I noticed on day 1. I was going to mention it to the dealership when I went in for my first oil change. Thinking of taking it off now if there is nice paint underneath. Why do they do that anyway? I don't like the look, and I can see wax sticking to it and not coming off.
All the best,
Glenn

Wow... nice tip... would have never known about it...my truck is black so I don't think it would matter.
