Hey all, 2023 1500 Classic with key ignition.
Like a spunky girl once said "I don't know $h1t about F#c1" when it comes to stealing cars. I have installed an ignition cut-off kill switch in my truck but I read about people plugging into the OBDII port in some cases to steal a car. Can you start the non-push button truck and drive it via just OBDII device?

Depends on what the lockout action is. I would say a third party option wouldn't be able to have OBD over come it, but ask the manufacturer.

I have the ram tazer in my truck with their beta software. It can be setup to work with your fob if you dont unlock Ur vehicle with the fob that locked it and get it started it'll go into full lockdown mode. You have to set a code in your steering wheel and enter it when it asks for it. If you don't it'll turn on Ur flashers, kill the gas pedal and if you set it up, lock the brakes on so its harder to tow. It works very well I'm Impressed. This thing also locks the computer so if someone tries to get into it to program a key without your specific code it won't have access. I have mine set with my fob and a feature that should have been implemented from factory.... When you leave your truck with it running (with the key with you) then walk away it senses you're gone and won't move or go into gear or have any throttle response kind of like when you remote start it. So I have that activated too.

I would contact the manufacturer of the ignition cut off kill system.
I am sure these can be made to have the intended effect in different ways .

It was my understanding that thieves hook up to your obd port to program in new fobs that they already have to start and drive your truck away. If they can't program a new fob they could just pull the rip cord (8 speed), throw the thing into neutral, and tow it away. I can't remember if it was from Moe's but I picked up a nice billet port lock. Destroyer 1320 makes a very nice block of plate but I had to modify mine to be able to mount it. Anything you can do to slow them down or make them give up and move on is better than nothing. Something as simple as a Bluetooth relay for the starter signal would work very well
