Does the factory stereo get the newer SiriusXM Channels?

Hi all! I just joined the RAM family last week. I love my new (to me) RAM but hate the radio. I have the 3.0 and really need to upgrade. I was thinking about upgrading to the 8.4 but am wondering if it will get the newer stations up in the 300s (Turbo, Road Trip, Rock Bar...)? They added these channels within the last year and I really love them. Does anyone know if the factory radios get these stations?

Yes my 8.4 gets all 300. I listen to 314and 315 daily. Do it !!! You won't regret it. Best mod I did aside from center console and leather.

Wow thanks for the quick response! I really want to do the 8.4 upgrade but after just buying the truck it may have to wait a bit. In looking at all that's involved it seems I'd need to buy quite a bit of stuff other than just the 8.4 stereo.

Cool. Don't let it overwhelm you. Basically it's radio, bezel, harness and Ac module.... Good luck sir!

Yep. If you have a 7 speed blower fan (most 2014+ Ram 1500's do) vs the 4 speed fan it's pretty much plug and play.
Lucky you!

But if you don't have the mirror with microphones, you will likely want that as well. Also plug and play.
... and possibly swap the steering wheel to get the phone/Vr and audio control buttons.

Exactly same channels for me. Then I discovered 300's like 6 months ago. Now my favorites are half ones you just mentioned and other half rock bar, turbo etc in 300's check them out. Decent stations.
