Hello, I am looking for a bit of advice.
Has anyone on this forum had to remove the driver-side doors on a 3rd gen manufactured prior to 1/13/03? I had a salvage yard pull some doors for me, as mine are damaged, and I need help on how to take the old ones off. I have a basic idea, but is there any special alignment that needs to be done, or anything that your average DIYer can't do on their own? Also, how hard is it to remove the information decal on the inside of the door, and install it on the new one? I wish to retain this, as it has the correct VIN for my vehicle.
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Info on vehicle:
2003 Ram 1500
SLT Quad Cab
Manufactured 09/02 (They changed the bolt pattern for the doors on 1/14/03)
