Door Speakers

Well, I think my OEM infinity speakers in the doors are finally about to crap out, lol. They have had a good long life. So, what brand should I get to replace them with? I have a Kicker sub, should I get Kickers or would it even matter? What aftermarket speakers do yall have in the doors? Do you like them?

I've always had good luck with Alpine components. I ordered a set of their 6x9's for my doors a few days ago

you don't have to have your speakers match your sub brand wise. The best thing you can do it go to a store that has the displays where you can listen to the different speakers and see what you like. Everybody has different tastes and what sounds good to one person might not sound good to another

I myself love pioneer but to be honest go to a store and listen to all the brands you have 6'' or sx9's might even want to do crossovers.

HemiBabe, I really wish you could see my Kicker System in person. You would fall in love with how crisp and clean all the notes are. I really like my kicker speakers, no regrets at all.

Argeed with Butch. Take an Ipod or CD of the kind of music you like, see what sounds best to you. Then, check retail store prices vs online.

Good advice... I was looking into changing my door speakers also. I would go to a retailer or stereo shop and listen to what they have.... that is what I am going to do.

Budget will also be a deciding factor for me as well. Alpine, pioneer, and kicker are all good quality.

Are these for the oek basic sound system or the oem premium system??

I am interested if they are for the oem NON-premium, NON-amplified, NON-infinity, basic sound system.

dont let me start on best buy...they ****** up my truck big time...it cost them 6700 to fix at the dealer...i will never go there again..
