What's the best way to deal with bubbles in the filler? Will the primer fill them or should I add some filler to those areas and resand?

This is probably one of the coolest DIY project I've ever done

Not done with painting, but the first coat of primer is on

I haven't gotten to the stereo installation yet, but I thought I'd post up my final results

I need to sand it with some fine grit and really get it polished and smooth, but I need it to be drier...so it's installed temporarily till its had a few days to harden

Lovely job mate. Looks amazing. How hard was this? I'm gonna be doing this soon. And how long did it take.

Wasn't terribly difficult...be prepared to do a lot of sanding. Having a dremel helps a lot. Weedahoe has a video on the removal of the inner bezel from the larger piece. I recommend watching it. The plastic and gluing went fairly fast. Tip for the bondo, work quickly, do one side at a time then mix new bondo...sand sand and more sand. The painting too the most time for me..but I did this all in a day. The install is a bear because you have to cut some of the inner plastic to get it to fit...if you cut carefully, you can let the plastic support the weight of the radio
