I currently own a 2012 Ram 3500 ST, CCLB, CTD, auto, 4X4 with 29,000 miles & lots of mods, but after selling our travel trailer do not need such a behemoth of a truck. I paid $36,500 for it new & the lot will give me $34,000 trade in value. This is the most recent picture.

I have ordered a 2015 Ram 1500 Sport RCSB, 4X4, blue streak pearl and loaded to the hilt. It should be delivered in late November. The wait is terrible but I could not find one on a lot anywhere near me. Here is a couple pictures of one that is in Alaska. I can't wait for mine to arrive.

Welcome and Congratulations, that new truck will be beautiful. And that blue I think is fairly rare, at least in the sense you won't see many pass by you on the road. Ordering a vehicle is like going through emotional stages lol. The waiting, the excitement, the anticipation, and the acceptance. Lol. It will be worth the wait.
Your HD truck is a beauty as well btw.

Thanks guys! It took almost 3 weeks but they finally assigned it a VIN. Hopefully it won't take too long to get it.

I'm so jealous. I really want to trade my quad in for a reg cab hemi and make a street truck but it has depreciated too much!

I did something similar. I traded out of a 13 1500 lone star cc for a 14 express black edition. Dropped my payments $80/month and saves me a lot on gas even with the lift and 35's. I love that blue steak your getting. I got an express since I got a steal on it and I only plan on keeping it a little over a year. I have had it 6 months and I am bored with it already. I can't seem to keep interested in anything I buy. I nod it get bored and trade it. When I buy I look at what I will get out of it in 2 years since I never keep anything longer than that. Like and addiction for me.

I love the color of your new truck, I almost got the same color when I bought my 14 reg cab short bed express last spring. I ended up with the deep cherry red.

Congrats on the down-size

My first Ram was an 04' QC Sport 4x4,
and I didn't use the back seat much accept for hauling groceries.

So I decided my next would be a RCSB 4x4 Sport, full load
and put a tonneau and bedrug in the back for an over sized trunk.

Never regretted the move at all in 4.5 years,
my next one will probably the same in 2016.

Your new truck will really look great. I really like the color. If I could make one suggestion---when your truck arrives at the dealership PLEASE don't let them detail it. In all likelyhood they will do more damage to the paint than they will do good. Most employees at a dealership that do detail work don't know **** about detailing and they think that steel wool and microfiber are the same. Save yourself a bunch of heartache and detail your truck yourself.

I'm not a fan of RCs, even through they're how trucks ought to be, but that is one sweet ride!

I love that 3500 though, mean looking f*cker. You did it up nice.

Finally have a delivery date, it will be at the dealership on Tuesday 12/2/14. I won't be picking it up until Friday the 5th as I don't work fridays. This will also give them time to prep, detail (yes I'm going to let them do it), turn the tires around to hide the raised white letters and do the paint, interior and undercarriage protection. Do you guys think that the protection package is worth the $700 price tag?

I've always passed on the undercarriage protection. Never had any rust issues and I live in the Midwest. Now if they had something for the rear quarter panels I'd invest in a heart beat.

If you get the rustproofing done correctly it is sprayed in all of the body panels including the rear quarter panels.

Well, the truck didn't make it to the dealership on Tuesday the 2nd as promised. The salesman then informed me that it wouldn't be delivered until Monday the 8th. I told them that if it wasn't here by today, Friday the 5th that the deal was off. That got things moving and the truck is now supposed to be here today. I sure hope so, as after waiting nearly 11 weeks my patients has run out!
