I've used them on other vehicles other than my Ram. They are pretty good for the price. Make sure to warm em up a bit!

Its a good tire, but too short for the Ram trucks. That's only about a 25.5" tall tire on the truck, so you dont have much sidewall. That is why all the quicker trucks are running 28" tall radials.

Cheapest way to offset the 3.21's in a 4X4 ,puts it at roughly a 4.10 Matt,i don't think it'll run out of rpm, lol.Want to put them on the factory aluminium 17"s I have,so going much wider then a 275 on a 7" rim probably isn't wise either.Went ahead and ordered them,so i'll see how they work in another month when the track opens. Thanks guys for the tips

They should be OK until you get into the higher power levels. The gearing isnt the issue, its the shorter sidewall which translates to less traction. It will no doubt hook much better than a street tire, but not as well as a 28" tire of the same compound.

This is why I switched to 15" wheels. I'm still only running a 28" tall tire just like I was on my 17's, but having that extra inch of sidewall makes a huge difference in traction.

Side wall flex is your friend when drag racing.... The more sidewall you have the more you can flex it to keep the grip. Air pressure is also very important for the tire to react like its supposed to.

Hopefully I'll get my truck back sometime to be able to pick up a set of 17's and hoosiers for the track this season.
