Ok guys here is the latest addition of upgrades.

I had the maxtrac kit 7" lift kit with bilstein shocks on. I've since upgraded the 5 link system to Core 4x4. I had purchased the pro-comp rear box lift kit that included the rear control arm drop brackets I wanted but had these suckers almost a year before installing them.

I replaced the shocks with Bilstein 5165's adding the reservoir's with upgraded clamps and added the pro-comp drop brackets to the install. Needless to say nothing goes as planned and it took me all day to get the parts installed.

It sure does. Now I need to pay attention to the front.

Still looking to make a 2wd coilover kit.

So far the LCA's from a 4x4 will be the easiest way. Dirt king has upper shock mounts that need to be welded in. Then just need to spec the coilovers. Off the shelf won't work because the DK upper mount is just an eyelet but they'll know which coilovers I'll need.

Sadly no. I'll need to source a fabricator once I've collected all the parts to weld in the new upper coilover mount.

It's shelved for now. Truck is paid off so when the shocks fail on the front again the Dirt king long travel kit might take its place. I need to find someone with a set of those coilovers on their 4x4 to see if the money will be worth it.

I was under the impression the jonny joint was more beneficial on the axle side and not the frame side

What is the advantage of the pro comp rear vs. BDS/zone rear setup?
