Dual Alternator Option Not Avaliable?

I am trying to order a 25 3500 with the dual 480 AMP alternator option but my dealer is telling me no go but can't tell me why. Can anyone tell me why or if it will ever be available?

I'd suggest you talk to another dealer if the one you talked to can't tell you why.

You will achieve the best results by visiting several dealers , this can help get a more accurate understanding of your purchase.

Lots of salespeople do not have a firm grasp on what they offer. Many times I would inform the salesperson of what’s available, and how things are supposed to work.

It used to be the salespeople were always on top of their offerings, however those days are long gone.

Did they look in the ordering system?

Having ordered several vehicles from CDJR I can say from experience that their ordering system is hot kaka. Options that show on the online vehicle builder are absent in the ordering the system, and the reverse is also true with things being in the ordering system that are not present on the website. And things change from day to day in their ordering system. We had a situation when I ordered my Gladiator that we couldn't spec a Sport S with max tow without a hard top or dual top. I wanted soft top only. They had to call corporate and use a code to make it work.

Go to another dealer or have them verify it with corporate. Something isn't adding up.
