Update?I am buying the parts now to add a second battery to my 17 Ram 1500. It will mount under the hood in the same location as the second battery for the diesel models. Here are the part number needed from Mopar.
BATTERY TRAY RIGHT SIDE $76.98 55372563AB
BATTERY TRAY SCREW $1.15 6510204AA
BATTERY HOLD DOWN SCREW $1.27 6104376AA
BATTERY HOLD DOWN $2.48 68082538AB
BATTERY COVER $20.87 56029822AD
You will also need to purchase enough 2ga or 0ga to run 12v and ground back to the main battery. I recommend getting a battery isolator but in my case I will be running it directly so both battery's will drain and charge together.
I get all my Mopar parts here.

I am still working on how to reroute the air intake and filter, will post some pics once I get all installed.
Update?
I have a dual battery in a 2015 BigHorn for about 4 years so far. The 2nd battery is in my bed in a Marine battery case which I use to run an expedition refrigerator. The are separated by an Isolator that is used for RV batteries and has the option to switch sources if my starter battery goes dead.Has anyone installed dual batteries and/or dual alternators on 4th Gen 1500?
I run a 2nd isolated battery to power a refrigerator and lights for when I camp. The 2nd battery enables me to run the fridge for at least 3 days straight with no fear of draining my starter battery. If I hook up portable solar panels I can go almost indefinite and still start my truck as needed without fear of being stuck.I ask Y and what are you trying to accomplish????? just get the 220 amp alternator, you could run alot of power off of that. Not that the 180 cant
