Terrible dust in cab. Fan on high helps minimal. Dust is definitely coming from rear cab vents. It's so bad seat belts have been replaced because they wouldn't retract. Any solutions?

Cut some foam as a filter, place over cab vents. Some guys have also cut down cabin air filters to accomplish the same thing. You can't block them completely or you will have issues closing doors and potential window breakage on hot days.

Have you replaced them with the new design ones? Easy job and cheap money for the parts - under $25 for both of them.
Interesting, did not know there was a new version. Do you know when they came out, and are they installed in all 1500, 2500 and 3500 after that date. Thanks.

Unless there's another new design, the new style for the Gen4 trucks have been out for a few years now. Given the OP's truck is a '21 HD trucks it should already have them(still a Gen4 cab). I'm guessing one of them is bad, time to pull the rear seat to inspect them.

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 quad cab and I also get slot of dust in the back door area esp. I wonder if the weather tripping is adequate? I wonder if I have those filters in back of cab. Does it mater if a person switches from inside air to outside air control?

Adding a dust filter over the rear vents can reduce the amount of dust entering the cabin. You can use a breathable material (such as HVAC filter material) and secure it over the vents with tape or clips to ensure it stays in place.
