DVD Anyone

So looking around not seeing a post on an overhead DVD player install. Has anyone attempted to tackle this here yet? I plan on putting one in shortly so wanted to get some ideas as I have been talking with installers in the area and plan to do it myself.

Here I thought I might have been the first one too.. darn Pics and some tips are always helpful.. also any chance you have some good places to check them out and have decent prices?

I got mine on line crutchfield . easy to install

Its going to be tricky installing it in an 02-08 quad cab cause the roof isn't flat. Its got the cross beam right in the middle so you will have to make some sort of custom plate for the dvd player to screw into. This is what Frog made for his

I put one in mine. Just removed the headliner right out of the Truck to do a nice job. The DVD player unit is removable and there are two xtra dome lights on the holder assy like the one pictured above but mine is thinner/closer to the roof.
