Can these trucks go over 5400 with a stock tranny on a dyno? Or will it also stop it? My trucks hitting a stop around those Rpms.

Some trucks can hold thrid and some go into 4th, is yours holding thrid? If your doing a shop close to Sam he can prob give you some pointers.

You sure you have the rev limiter raised? And wot shift points raised?

Mine holds third, and then it'll seem like it's trying to shift at 5400, but more or less just cut off.

Yeah. The limiters and shift points are up.

Yep, sounds like its not flashing the tcm. Go into the dsp, and look up the calibration id's and see if you get one for the pcm and one for the tcm.

When in 3rd is he pulling the shifter back to 2nd @ around 5k to keep it locked into 3rd?

Does it act the same on the street when you go WOT?

No, he isn't doing that. And no, on the street it'll get up to right around 6k Rpms.

Your trucks upshifting into fourth on the dyno it sounds like.

I'd imagine. Or something. Because I've done a lot to my truck, and my HP hasn't moved. And I'm getting it at a lower rpm and speed.

Do you have a stock pull to compair then to now? Have you ever ran it at the track stock and now tjat you have changed it? You might not see alot of numbers on the dyno but might pick up a few tenths or even a second in the quarter.

Yep. Ran it stock, and then took it back today to get air to fuel fixed. And that happened. He just seemed confused on why he couldn't get it to push.

It still shouldnt be shifting into 4th at 5400rpm, stock is 5800 I believe.
