I have a fair amount on my mod list and a muffler is one of them. What are peoples opinion of Dynomax? A friend has one in his 67 Impala and sounds great. Anyone here have one in their RAM? If so, how do you like it?

My dad had one on his f150. It sounded great but it was aluminized so it only lasted 2 years before rusting apart. If they make a stainless one now that would be the way to go, otherwise magnaflow would be better for the money.

I've got a dynomax race bullet. I love it. Sounds gnarly lol I have a video on Facebook, if you have one. I don't think I can upload it onto here through tapatalk.

Dynomax's (from my experience) are a good muffler.
As mentioned above, I know at least the vast bit of their product line was aluminized, and seemingly poorly at that. I had a Dynomax UltraFlo catback on my '97 Dakota, that was the only system that didn't go to **** quickly.

They have a nice tone to em though!

I had a stainless Dynomax Ultra Flow with dual tailpipes on my '10 Dakota TRX4 with 4.7 V-8. It looked great after 3 winters in Western NY,but the droan while driving around locally was brutal !

Please note: drone can be created by a number of variables, not just a muffler.

Ran Dynomax Superturbo 3" SI/SO on my 04 and loved it. Def' my favorite muffler as i was looking for something that was slightly louder than stock but provided good flow. Removed it when i decided to go with a dual setup.

I put the Dynomax 39480 muffler back kit on mine in July. It has the Ultra Flo polished stainless muffler. I think it is a 24" muffler. It has a pretty good sound to it. It's a little loud when you start the truck or when you get on it, but it's not too bad otherwise. Nothing like glasspacks. When I was looking for an exhaust I was more concerned with sound than performance. I didn't want anything crazy loud. I work different hours all the time and didn't want something the was going to wake the neighbors. I am very happy with how this muffler sounds. That being said the fit of the tail pipe on the passenger side wasn't worth a crap. I ended up taking the rubber off the hanger and just using a hose clamp around the body and pipe hanger to get the pipe up high enough. The stainless steel exhaust tips are also starting to rust a little. The kit was cheap though. You get what you pay for I guess. Would I buy the muffler again? Yes. The kit? Probably. I also don't think it did anything for performance or mileage.
