Hey Y’all. I have a 2019 Power Wagon 6.4. Looking to make a little healthier noise. I'm on the fence over Flowmaster Flow FX and Magnaflow D-Fit Performance Muffler. I like my neighbors so I'm trying to keep the resonator. Is anyone running one of these D-Fit mufflers? My biggest concern is Drone
UPDATE: Thank you to all who replied. I got some good info and I'm making a purchase today.
Again Thanks to all.

I think I've watched every video from every one who has ever made one but few talk about the drone level in the cab

I have a 4th gen and run the flowmaster outlaw muffler and can say I love it, great sound not excessively loud can get annoying while pulling the camper lol. The sound is better then I expected I can honestly say. I have always preferred the sound of flowmaster so the fx would be my vote if it's any consolation lol

I have an 18 inch magnaflow , it fit right up no problem. This was 11 years ago and still enjoy the tone.
Although it got louder after adding headers.

As far as drone ,i have a regular cab , and drone does not exist in my cab.
I feel that the length of truck has a lot to do with this .

For me personally, it's Magnaflow all the way!

Their deep rumble really accentuates the V8 without it being too raspy/crackly.

I'd also consider a y-pipe upgrade to a custom mandrel bent one as the stock oem one is very restrictive.

The other part of the sound equation is also the tip(s).
I went with a pair of 5" tips on my Magnaflow cat back (with 14" performance muffler), a custom y-pipe, and a pair of 5" tips.

The sound is great!
All just my personal opinion though.

I agree I recently swapped my 2 year old already rotted out flow master to a Magnaflow and it sounds way better. The quality is way better its a shame flowmaster went to **** I use to use them on everything ahaha.

Hemi 5.7, supercharged
For me it's carven progressive or stock. The Carven sound is awesome and I've got it on a RCSB with headers and a supercharger.

It's not loud at speed but when you start it up, the neighbors are aware

We have several great options. If you are looking for a muffler kit, then the Solo Performance options and Magnaflow are hard to beat.

if you have any questions or if you would like a quote, just send me a message

FORGET your selection. Go with the Borla S-Type exhaust system. Expensive, but the sound is amazing. And absolutely NO drone noise on highway.

6.7 liter diesel
I put a Magnaflow on a Ford 7.3 liter diesel. The pipe was much larger which helped but it was loud. I didn't even realize how loud it was until I got a new Ram diesel in 2022. The stock exhaust on it is fine.

Back on 03, I replaced my stock exhaust on my 02, 1500 4.7 with a Borla Cat back system. 10 years later the muffler cracked on the outlet. Because they have a lifetime warranty, They replaced it free of charge. I still drive the truck every day and it definitely has a distinct sound. Reminds me of a High Bank NASCAR sound

I have the D-fit Magnaflow and left the resonator installed on my 2022 Power wagon, absolutely love the sound with no drone. Others have commented on how good it sounds. And an easy install.
