So I just walked out to my truck foe break and the fan was running. Don't know how long it has been. Truck started thankfully. Could the controller be bad?

Trace your wires to see if they are not crossing anyother wires, and maybe install a cut off switch for possible future problems.

Sounds like the controller or relay took a dump. Its by passing it and just keeping a constant current flow to it.

Did you try to adjust the controller to a different set point? If you can turn the adjusting knob stop to stop and the fan doesn't stop, then it is pretty certain the controller.

Was at work and didn't have time to mess with it. Just wondering now if it will come on without the yellow wire. That's just to turn it on or keep it on after thee truck is shut off right?

Make sure the two wires that go to the controller aren't touching cause that would make it run.

You have yours wired different than mine, disregard my previous post. My fan doesn't run with the ignition is off.

The yellow wire and red power? That might have been the issue. Have eye connectors on them and they were connected to the battery together. But it has been like that since I installed it and never had an issue till today

Well, I am assuming you have it wired to run for a given period after turning off the engine. Something like a minute or two. So a timer is involved. Both the yel and red should be connected to the battery for power. The timer for the run on isn't set right or has failed. Fan should run during normal driving unless the whole controller is shot. Anyway, my two cents.. When I put my eFan together they didn't have that controller available, pretty slick.

Yeah, no timer to set just the temp to come on and off. It's still working while driving so gonna save up to get a better controller. Don't know how well this would work so thoughts are appreciated with this idea. Making quick disconnects in the wiring so that of this happens again I don't have to fight running the wires every time?
