E fan ?

I'm wanting to put my dual fans in. My question is if I disconnect the factory fan will it set a CEL ?

Which fan setup are you looking to run? If you go with the factory v6 fan, it is plug-n-play and will not trigger any CEL's.

Put the v6 Efan and the jet 180 stat. If you dont have a tuner it with turn on at 225 and shut off about 200. I think. With a tuner i set mine to turn on at 200. For me the fan never comes on unless you sit in traffic for long periods of time or you turn the a/c on. Before the turner came out when i sat in traffic i just turned the defrost on. One of the top mods you can do.

I plan on running the 180* but I want my temp under 200*

This truck tows every day. It needs to stay cool.

No tuner yet. I'm waiting till I'm done with all my mods before I do a tuner.

I will be putting these in next weekend.
I want to use these cause I can set the temp that I want them to come on at.

E fan is an electric fan..Stock rad fan uses engine power off the pullys n belts to spin the fan with a clutch,so it robs power and a lil mpg

I haven't seen a CFM rating for the V6 Fan, but my honest opinion is, it's likely a whole lot more than most after-market fans will pull. And it's a clean install.

It's ANOTHER reason I want a tuner, so I can trigger the cooling fan at the right temp.

The V6 e-fan pulls plenty of air, it'll pull a sheet of paper against the grille at low speed, high speed you can forget about it. I've got mine set to come on at 188 with my Trinity and it never gets hotter than that even after back to back passes at the track.
