Got my new kit in today. Thanks Nick@GotExhaust! Including the discount!!

Now I'm deciding on +2.25/2.75 or 3.5. The website states +2.25. The instructions state 2.75. (That is the bottom ring). The instructions state the 2nd ring is 3.5".

If I go 3.5" what additional parts do I need other than UCA's? And I think I'll add a 3/4" to 1" coil spacer on top in the rear, if I go the route of 3.5" in the front.

Right now, I'm at approx. (with full tank of fuel and no extras);
LF – 36-1/4”, RF - 36-1/2", LR - 39-1/8" and RR - 39-3/8"

I would recommend the following:

  • SuspensionMaxx front swaybar endlinks 1-3”Leveled trucks, part#SMX-1300L.
  • Core4x4 rear extended length swaybar endlinks.
  • Thuren rear shock nut set, part #TF-1500RSHNTWR-SET
  • Carli Suspension Ram 1500 Rear Track Bar Drop Bracket.

I don't think people are getting 2.75" on the bottom ring with the Eibach front springs. From what i think i remember reading that's 2", so youll have to go to the 2nd one for 2.5" ?
Again, you don't need rear spacers, you already have the Eibach 1" rear springs in that box. Lol I'll get a nice set of aftermaket UCA's, install and align.

Then you can start adding more parts as you need if you need them.

Make sure you have a very good quality coil spring compressor.

Wish I could tell you how awesome the Eibach springs are but I had to put the stock springs & Bilsteins back on after the "ultra rugged" one I started using stripped its threads and gave me a heart attack. I got one Eibach mounted on a new strut..

Before installing rear shocks and springs I was at approx. (with full tank of fuel and no extras);
LF – 36-1/4”, RF - 36-1/2", LR - 39-1/8" and RR - 39-3/8"

After installing rears shocks and springs only;
LR - 40-1/8", RR - 40-9/16"

What the heck?? 1/2" difference, between left and right???

I guess I have to tear it all down and try to reorient the springs a little. I noticed as I rotated the right spring a little more clockwise than the oem was sitting, it improved the seating as well as seemed to rise a little. I guess I have to rotate it about a quarter turn back counter clockwise...

The only difficulties were the driver's side top shock bolt and the lug nuts felt like they were impacted at 1,000 lbs. Got to love those tire rotation "technicians".

The instructions say 2.75" first ring and 3.5 second ring and third ring for after market heavy equipment.

This contradicts the website which seems to imply the first ring is 2.25". I guess I'll go ahead and set it on the second ring from the start.

If I'm still leaning, I may get the Wolf 1/2" strut spacer for the driver's side.

Why would you put a strut spacer in if the height difference is in the rear...or did I read that wrong?

And have you installed the front setup yet?

Lift one corner a little and the opposite diagonal side drops.
I have one extra turn in my King coilovers in the driver side to compensate for the gas tank lean and works like a charm. You can also add a spacer in the rear driver which can also put the opposite front passenger corner down. It all depends how severe the lean is. Sometimes you need a spacer front and rear same side. Sometimes you could offset your sway links and make one shorter. Creativity is that name of the game sometimes when it comes to fixing a slight lean :)

LF - 39-1/2", RF - 39-15/16", LR - 40-1/8", RR - 40-9/16"

Directly After I installed the fronts, they were hovering about 41". I was pretty excited. Took her for a spin - got her out on the hiway, etc. She dropped to the above. I haven't remeasured the rear. But, I imagine they settled in some. The truck looks completely level to me. So, I want to get a little rake back. I'm going to try and find a 3/4" to 1" top coil spacer for the rear.

I thought I broke a cv during the install, from cranking down on the lower control arm to get all the bolts back in. I removed the cv boot, did a visual inspection, mostly just saw grease. LOL So I stuck my fingers all in there. Couldn't feel anything unusual, resealed the boot with a stainless hose clamp. Then did the drive around.

Looks great, did you go with the second ring?

The Rams look nose high even when they measure level, worse if you have a sport hood.

Looks great! Hows it ride?!

I agree. The rams need about 3/4-1” higher fenders in the back or they look like they are sagging ass.

Rides good. Now I've done alignment.

Before;
LF – 36-1/4”, RF - 36-1/2", LR - 39-1/8" and RR - 39-3/8"
After Install and drive around the block;
LF - 39-1/2", RF - 39-15/16", LR - 40-1/8", RR - 40-9/16"
After alignment and 100 or so miles;
LF - 39-1/16", RF - 39-1/2", LR - 40-7/16", RR - 40-13/16"

Unexplainable - seems the rear "sprang up" a bit?

Is there a 1/2" upper rear coil spacer available anywhere? Make my towing set up complete. Might try just installing one on the driver's side and see what happens.

Next, I think I need some slightly extended brake lines. When I turn hard over, they are just about at the limit.

I believe I have the original tires/wheels, P275/60R20. I'll review the forums to get an idea where I can go next there. (Might be an early Christmas)

Klm performance sells custom length brake lines and are well worth their cost. I’m running full front and rear. Rear are not a direct swap thanks to the ram engineers.

Just add a little extension bracket to where the original brake line brackets mount. It's only like $3 and you won't have to mess with your brake lines unless you want to upgrade to steel lines. Don't know why but there was no shop that will touch my chit when i asked them how much to extend my brake lines with aftermarket ones. Brake hoses and disconnecting brake hoses from the hydraulics is one of the things ive never ever done and so i'll pay to have it done as needed but damn nobody will do it at least around a 30 miles radius :)

This were my original extension brackets for 27" shocks
