ECM Flashing Price

Quick question -- I just installed an OEM trailer brake controller and switch on my 2020 Ram 1500. Install was fairly simple.

Any idea how much the dealer might charge (roughly? -- probably per hour labor) to flash the software to accept the new trailer brake module?

IIRC it's an hour's labor so whatever their labor rate is, it fluctuates from dealer to dealer. It's actually like a 20 minute job, but I think most dealers charge an hour for anything under an hour.

I think AlphaOBD and a couple other scan softwares can activate it as well. Plenty of guys on here have done it.

New radio -- $2200. Mopar paying half. smh.

After speaking with the district manager and the service manager -- Mopar KNOWS there is issues with these... maddening. "This isn't the first time we have encountered the same issues with a RAM UConnect". This whole process took more than a month resolve. UGH
