2023 Ram 1500, 5.7, 4K miles. Coming out of Econ mode I hear and feel a rumble when the 4 cylinders come back on line on acceleration. Dealer says it is normal.

Without an audio file it's hard to say for sure, but probably normal.2023 Ram 1500, 5.7, 4K miles. Coming out of Econ mode I hear and feel a rumble when the 4 cylinders come back on line on acceleration. Dealer says it is normal.
That is what is called "assuming the worst". The OP did not say whether (or not) the dealer did a test drive. Clearly you are assuming they did not. That dealers way of telling you no matter what ,they are not who you want working on your truck. Did they even take it for a ride to experience what you are ? If not I would find a different dealer , there are a few good ones out there . However lots have issues with the truth ,do your best to double check what you’re told. Remember dealers lie ,,,,,, often.
So, I do get a "burp" when letting off the gas, and I have Econ turned off, as well as Eco-Mode (aka 4-cylinder) by selecting Gear Limit mode.2023 Ram 1500, 5.7, 4K miles. I don't think any 5th gens have a 6 speed? It is more noticeable with the 8 speed trucks. I can't tell when it kicks on in my 2012 1500 ( now my son's). If I really pay attention I can tell on my 2021 2500. Now with White Knuckle sliders, it's much more pronounced at lower speeds, say 40mph-ish, but still pretty invisible at highway speeds.
