Hello,

How well does the Edge Pulsar work at disabling MDS? When MDS is disabled in one of the tunes, can you tell at all the MDS is trying to activate?

I'm a fan of the Pulsar but NOT for the MDS disable feature due to how it's implemented. MDS will still try to engage but the Pulsar shuts it off in a reactive manner not proactive. It worked fine when I had the OEM exhaust but as soon as I added the Outlaw cat-back, well I get an audible blurp every time MDS tries to kick in... very annoying. I keep the Pulsar on 7 w/ a Pedal Commander to tone down the throttle sensitivity & kill MDS w/ the manual gear select.

You can also disable the MDS/ECO Mode by just turning on the tow/haul. Changes the shift points, but will shut off the MDS

On my 17 tow/haul does not disable MDS.... Only using ERS does.

Just installed the pulsar today. Install was more complicated for me because I didn’t remove my CAI. So it probably added 20 more minutes to the install along with some arm scrapes!

Followed the instructions, had a pucker factor moment when the check engine light went on, but it went away once I actually turned the engine on.

Throttle response is awesome! Low end torque great. My but dyno tells me fairly decent HP gains.

HDHNTR gave some great advice. I agree a pedal commander might be needed to dilute the performance 8.
