Electric Fan Supercharger

I already have a cai. Do these work? Worth the money? Any issues it can cause for the engine?

It's not going to hurt your engine, but it's not going to do anything either imo. If you read the ad, it says it only pushes 3.5 psi max through that tiny little fan... That's nothing. Real superchargers run at least 7 psi to get some real power. If I were you, I'd save my money and buy a real supercharger later on.

Please don't waste your money on this crap. For an extra ~$150 you can buy a good tuner that WILL ACTUALLY add HP and TQ.

I had never heard of them so I was just curious. Im planning on getting a tuner later.
The way I see it if someone did get one of these and put it on a cai it would hinder the cai without the fan constantly turning. Thanks for the info.

These are a scam item. They dont do anything for performance, so please do not waste your hard earned money on this. What mods do you have so far? Let us help you with some parts that are actually going to show some performance gains.

They are just messing with ya bud. Deff save your money, depending on how in depth you plan on going with your truck just pick yourself up a SuperChips and have fun. What you had listed along with a TB spacer (unless tapped for spray) and the under dash chip are all not worth the money. Kinda like snake oil back in the day.

Thanks for all the info. Ill keep saving up for the tuner. Got 3 kids so christmas shopping starts early for me. Have to put at little back in between shopping for them. And One of their birthdays is 2 weeks before christmas. Wifey has me on a tight budget until after christmas.

OP I hear ya on doing a budget for these things. Try saving alill each week and hope nothing happens between now and then that takes out modding money. It always seems to happen to us.
