Hey guys my mechanical fan broke and busted up my radiator so I was thinking since I have to fix it anyways, why not put an electric fan in it? I was thinking of using the flex a lite 183 electric fan for the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 since it should bolt right up to it. Has anybody ever done this before?

I have used this fan on several occasions. It works well for street driving but if you do any towing you may have some issues. It works well for light duty towing but if you are towing a travel trailer or heavy equipment trailer you may run into some issues with the motor running a bit warm.

Overall it is a nice design and it cleans up the engine compartment really well.
