Electric Issues (check engine light)

I’m new here and need some help. I picked up a 07 Ram 1500 4x4 on Monday. The truck ran a drove great both times I test drove it. Then I was driving it yesterday to get it inspected and all of a sudden the check engine light came on. The previous owner said the TIPM was replaced recently but I have no paperwork proving it. Also the abs light and break light are on now. Here are the codes it’s giving me. Any info on what I should check would be greatly appreciated.

C2202 original vin mismatch/missing

U0125 lost communication dynamic sensor

P2706 shift solenoid “F”

Looks like you got had. The previous owner obviously cleared the codes knowing they would eventually come back.

Possible causes C2202 code

• ABS Module from different vehicle.
• ABS Module.
• Wrong VIN programmed into vehicle.

Yep, once the codes are cleared they take awhile to come back.

ABS not really a big deal though, it's rusted ABS sensor's and something I can certainly live without.

Double check your battery. The ECM throws some wonky codes if the battery is a little weak. Just as a sanity check and its cheap and easy to check.
