Trying to find a way to change the temp when the electric cooling fan comes on in my 2017 Ram 1500 3.6L pentastar.
Does anyone know if this can be done with Alfa OBD?
If so, can you please point me in the right direction to change it?
Thanks in advance for any help!

That sure would be great, if that were an available option with AlfaOBD, but no.

The only way to accomplish this electronically is with an unlocked PCM and a tune.

If you search the threads, you will find discussions on this topic.

HP Tuner is the current preference.

@Mojo88 has experience with this tweak using HP Tuner.

AlfaOBD won't do it.

To change the temp for the fan, you will need a tuner, or something similar that can change the PCM / ECM programming.
Your truck is a '17 and will need an unlocked ECM also, which is usually done by vendors like DiabloSport or HPTuners. Not for skinny wallets.

Thank you all for your responses.
After reading these, I have been looking at removing the fan and adding an aftermarket dual fan set up that I can set my own temps on.
Still investigating them.

Thanks again
