Here is a photo of a Hellcat oil pressure spring compared to a regular spring. Hell cat spring is in the middle. Hellcat is about 1/4" longer and and much stronger. I could see much higher pressures with the Hellcat spring.DSCN0073.JPG

If you've got the hellcat oil pump, just swap in the stock oil pump spring into the hellcat oil pump.

I did this on my '15 that I'm in the middle of repairing.

If you've got the hellat oil pump, just swap in the stock oil pump spring into the hellcat oil pump.

I did this on my '15 that I'm in the middle of repairing.
YUP!!! Done that already. I think a little boost by adding that 1 stainless washer won't hurt. Might make about a 5 psi increase.

I've played around with engines for a long time. The old washer behind the spring is an old trick. a single washer might not even do 5 psi, but it will give it something.

I've been retired for almost 20 years and somehow, I have forgotten stuff.

Well, I did have what some call a mini stroke last spring so I guess the data storage is getting cleared a bit, just not in a good way.
