2011 Hemi 5.7 in a RAM Laramie. 185,000 miles. Other than this issue, runs great and gets regular maintenance.

The engine stalls sporadically when stopping or slowing to take a turn. Happens infrequently, full tank or low.

The stalling during turns is the main concern, as the power steering turns off, and you have to quickly slide to N and start it to get the truck moving again.

No codes per mechanic. He could not get it to duplicate this issue during his test drives over two days.

Do I try fuel additives or cleaners? Higher octane fuel?

Just wondering it this has happened to others with the Hemi.

Thanks!

My 2011 is doing the same thing. I’ve replaced the throttle body and still no luck. I haven’t had it do it in a turn just when coming to a stop.

i'm having a similar issue with my 2019 Power Wagon, i'll check the tranny fluid which i replaced a few months ago. It stalled a few times at idle and then while driving slow around the block it was fully cutting out like it wasnt getting any fuel. I'm going to check the throttle body and fuel pump as well. I only have 55k miles so i dont think it could be a spark plug

Did you ever manage to find the answer to this particular issue? Was wondering cause I have the same truck and am having the same issues except when it comes to turning.

Same issue here. Came to the forum to see if this was a common problem. Appears so! Mine stalls when stopping/slowing.

I've read that it could be the WIN module (ignition) and now the tranny fluid.

I need to fix before my camping trip in April!

You can bypass your win module to verify if that is issue. You have hydraulic power steering, so any stall gonna slow that pump.

Interesting thing about bypass, is you can leave it under dash and set TIPM back to OEM if this doesn't fix it, but everything still in place if win leaves you high and dry in the future.

Could be air or fuel, run redline si-1 concentrated a bottle per 1/2 tank, and check air- throttle body, vacuum, air filter. Drive in tow haul still happens? That will have you in higher rpm even as you slow.
