Cool article. Personally I would have replaced the pistons, definitely the lifters, potentially rods, and definitely at least do a slightly better cam. Maybe since it went 200 something thousand miles and it seems we have lots of issues with new parts these days they stuck with what they knew worked.

Cool didnt know about the timing chain guide upgrade, will definately do that if I find myself in this boat
