Hey so I'm getting these 4 codes. I have already swapped the PCM and it starts fine but then a few seconds and then starts rough idling and I get no power and it also throws it into limp mode? Why?

The truck was giving ETC errors with multiple codes. P0268, P0653, P2127, U1424, U0100, & P062A.

The truck would start and surge hunting for idle and then sit at 1500 RPM with no throttle response.

Holley swapped the PCM for us which was not the issue. After about 15hrs of running a continuity test on the harness and diag we found the 3way valve to have an internally short between pin 1ETC motor + 12v and pin 4 5v supply.

The one thing that all these circuits have in common is the share the 5v supply.

My assumption is that the 12v was trying to increase the 5v supply.

We replaced the 3 way valve and all is well again and now the kid can bring his stress level down and move on to the next mod.

You don't have one, they were only used on the early 13 to 16 1500's with the 8 speed transmission. It directed coolant to the heater core and the thermal management unit on the side of the 8 speed transmission.
